Freia Ombre Fingering Minikins
These little balls of fun are single ply merino yarn, hand-dyed in beautiful gradients and wound into cakes, ready for your project! We love them for color work, or pick a few complimentary balls and stripe them for an accessory. The possibilities are limitless! Freia Fibers single-ply merino is grown on small farms in the Rockies and milled in North Carolina. The yarn is hand-dyed at their studio in North Adams, MA with acid dyes using processes that are gentle to the environment. The yarn is untreated so it must be washed by hand or it will felt.
Fingering Weight
100% Merino
107 yards per 25 gram ball
As with all hand-dyed yarns, variations will occur between skeins. Please note that Freia Minikins are sometimes wound the opposite direction, so the middle of your mini may look like the outside of the pictured ball and vice versa. Pictures are given as an example of each colorway, not the exact skeins currently in the shop. We strongly encourage you to order all the yarn you need for your project so we can pull as closely matching skeins as possible!
