SweetGeorgia Superwash BFL Fiber
BFL is the common abbreviation for Blue Faced Leceister, a breed of sheep native to England. BFL wool has a longer staple length but is still a finer fiber, making it a great choice for harder-wearing items like garments or socks! This fiber is superwash treated, as well (we still recommend hand washing the finished yarn/finished objects, as always with wool items). Hand-dyed in gorgeous colors by SweetGeorgia, this fiber is also a good choice for tapestry weaving or combining with knitting/crochet for techniques like thrums! Due to being superwash treated, we do not recommend this for needle felting.
Spinning Fiber
100% Superwash BFL wool
100g/3.5 oz per braid
As with all hand-dyed fibers, variations will occur between braids. Photos are given as a general representation of each colorway, not the exact braids currently in the shop. Please order all the fiber you need for your project so we can pull as closely matching braids as possible!
