Pattern Reading & Dishcloth Workshop with Pam

Have you ever looked at a knitting pattern and felt as if it was written in a foreign language? In some ways, you are correct! In this workshop, we will cover everything you need to know to confidently work with knitting patterns. And we will make a lovely dishcloth in the process.
Students will learn the following:

Understanding supply lists

What is Gauge? When is it important or not?

What is a Set Up row?

Simple increases and decreases

Pattern repeat terminology

Tips & Tricks to make following a pattern a breeze!
Students should be able to cast on, knit, purl, bind off

Ocean View Dishcloth (Available on Ravelry. Can also be purchased at Dances With Wool.)

Yarn:

55 yards Worsted Weight Cotton yarn (Blue Sky Organic Cotton Sport in the shop is a perfect choice!)

Needles:
-
US8 (5.0mm) straight or circular needles for Worsted Weight (US6 or 7 for Sport Weight)
