Christmas Stockings with Angela
Do you want to enhance your knitting skills and/or perfect the color techniques in stranded colorwork? Interested in sock construction but not ready to tackle tiny needles? Need a Christmas stocking to bring a personal touch to your holiday traditions? Or maybe you are carrying on a family tradition. This workshop is for you!
Participants need to have a solid foundation of knitting and purling.
In this class you will learn:

How to work with multiple colors at the same time

To read charts

Sock techniques, such as turning the heel, knitting a

gusset and toe shaping

finishing techniques: such as Kitchener stitch, basic seaming and duplicate stitch. Join us for this adventure.
Materials to bring with you to the first class:
Pattern: Holly Christmas Stocking by Anne’s Woolens on Ravelry for $7 (This pattern is a great base to use for other of Anne’s Christmas Stockings)
Needles: US 6- 4.0mm in 16” circular, and US 8- 5.0mm in a 32” or larger needle or dpns; or needle to match gauge
Yarn:1 skein of Worsted weight(210 yds) in MC, 2 CC colors of worsted weight (at least 65 yds) each. You may choose any colors the picture shows Cranberry, Spruce and Natural
