Dye Tries - Exploring Different Dye Techniques with Jeff
This class will expose you to our techniques for dyeing solids and variegated yarns including how to speckle. Once we work step by step through the two techniques, each on their own mini skein, you will be able to experiment with four additional mini skeins. You will have the support of Yarny Mammoth (Jeff Suho) along the way to help answer any of your questions. By the conclusion of the class you’ll have a better understanding of the yarn dyeing process and you’ll have 6 beautiful mini skeins to take home.
All materials included in class cost.
Each student is welcome to bring a pen and notepad for taking any notes that they would like.
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Dye used may stain clothes permanently.
