Lindal Crew Socks (short row socks) with Ute

These stunning socks are knit side to side, a totally different construction from traditionally knit socks. This pattern focuses on short row knitting techniques and highlights the way color uniquely pools within the shapes of the designs, which are well suited to self-striping yarn and gradient yarns. You can also use mini skeins or leftover yarn. We will work with a provisional cast on and graft the flat piece of knitting into a sock. Join us for this adventure and let’s have some fun!

This class is intended for Advanced Beginner/Intermediate knitters. You should be comfortable with all basic techniques; basic sock construction is a plus!

What you will learn:

  • Short row knitting
