Many knitters do not know how to fix mistakes and inevitably end up spending precious time taking out work, or putting the project aside, start another one or take a break from knitting altogether. This workshop is designed to enable you to fix some basic knitting mistakes, such as preventing and fixing twisted stitches, laddering down to fix a stitch, unknitting, etc. A free Guide to Fixing Mistakes for All Knitters by Knitting Daily will be provided in electronic format.
This class is intended for Advanced Beginner knitters - you should already have basic knitting knowledge and several projects under your belt.
What you will learn:
Tink, or unknitting
Preventing and fixing twisted stitch
Laddering down to fix a stitch
Other techniques as time permits
Knitted swatch (20 stiches, 10 rows in stockinette stitch)
Crochet hook
Interlocking stitch markers
