Dye the Rustic Rainbow with Jeff
Explore the process of how to dye solid colors while creating a rustic rainbow of mini skeins This class will take you through all of the steps of yarn dyeing from prepping the yarn to rinsing out your finished colorways. You will be guided along this journey by the dyer behind Rich Hill Yarns, Yarny Mammoth aka Jeff Suho. Perfect for people curious about yarn dyeing, beginner dyers or anyone who likes to play around with arts and crafts.
Class cost includes materials fee - all materials will be waiting for you in the classroom.
Skills you will learn:
Dye 6 mini skeins (20 grams each) in a solid color
Leave with a basic understanding of the solid color yarn dye process
Skills you already need to have:
Basic kitchen skills - stirring, pinching & sprinkling, and using a plastic syringe
Materials you will need to bring with you:
Pen & notepad for taking notes
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Dye used may stain clothes permanently.
