Knitting 102: My First Fingerless Mitts with Pam (In Person)

This simple mitt pattern, with a thumb gusset, is knit the same for both hands. It uses 2x2 rib cuffs and plain stockinette stitch in worsted weight yarn. It would work well with self-striping, variegated or solid yarns. The pattern has directions for two sizes, and is easily adjustable to add length if desired.

Class instruction will cover how to knit the mitts using the magic loop method, knitting one mitt at a time….. But will also include a demonstration on how you can knit these mitts two at a time.

This class is offered as in-person only.

Students will learn the following techniques:

  • Reading a pattern
