Butterfly Cowl with Ute

Are you interested in learning how to knit short rows and what they can do?  This class is an introduction into the use of the short rows technique. It creates this beautiful and fun cowl using only one color at a time. According to the designer it is a wearable piece of art.

  • Pattern: Butterfly Cowl by MarinJaKnits available on Ravelry
  • MC 96 yds of fingering weight yarn  (multi colored)
  • CC 70 yds of fingering weight yarn (solid)
  • US 3, straight if preferred and 24” circular
  • Removable stitch Markers
  • Tapestry needle
  • If beads are desired:  0.75mm (for 8/0 beads) or 1.3mm (for 6/0 beads) crochet hook, small tube of either 8/0 or 6/0 beads.  If shopping local, there is a bead store in Carytown called Bangles and Beads.
