Introduction to Brioche 101 with Ute

If you cannot attend in person, Ute has the equipment to allow participants to attend through Zoom. Zoom information will be sent prior to the first class.

Brioche knitting is a distinctive knitted ribbing technique that is recognized by its heightened, doughy texture.  It creates a second layer of fabric, resembling an array of arches or (seen upside down) of fish scales.

This headband is a perfect introductory project if you want to learn brioche.  The cozy headband is done with the knit brioche stitch only, no purling involved. We will also learn how to cast on provisionally and how to perform a three needle bind off.

Join our virtual or in person brioche adventure, let’s expand our skills and have fun!
