Virtual Class: Heartgyle Socks with Ute
Join us in this unique sock adventure. This class is designed to expand your skills. Some items that we will cover are: toe up sock, afterthought heel, how to lessen color striping joins and intarsia in the round. Intarsia is a type of color work where the different color yarns are not carried. In this sock we will be knitting the heartgyle above the ankle. If you are adventurous and are looking to expand your skills, this class is for you, just in time for Valentine’s. A sample of the sock will be available in the shop for viewing.
***It is critical for your success in class that you are able to complete the homework as assigned.Materials needed for the first class:
- Pattern: Boost your Knitting by Arnall-Culliford Knitwear. Book is only available in digital format and can be purchased on Ravelry HERE
- Fingering Yarn (3 colors) and matching needle size, if you are tight knitter, use US1, otherwise recommend US 0
- You will need 2 skeins of the main color.
- Tapestry needle, markers and waste yarn
