OOGIE BOOGIE ROULETTE COWL DOUBLE KNITTING WORKSHOP WITH TANIS

Curious about double knitting but not quite sure how it works? In this workshop you will learn the magic of knitting two sides of your work at once with no visible wrong side. You will also cover ways to keep your edges tidy, the provisional cast on, how to read double knitting charts, and work up the Oogie Boogie Roulette Cowl with hearts, diamonds, spades, skulls, and club motifs from the new Official Nightmare Before Christmas Knitting Book by Tanis Gray.  NOTE:  the motif is all the suits of cards - hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs, in addition to skulls. If you don't want the skulls and only the hearts (or vice versa) this is something that can be tweaked in class.

Experience Level: Intermediate – Colorwork experience not necessary, but helpful skills required:

ability to knit and purl, confident working two strands of yarn at once

Skills Covered: Double knitting techniques, keeping edges tidy, how to read double knitting charts, casting on with 2 colors
