Tell Me a Story: Fixing Mistakes

75.00

Every piece ever knitted tells a story. It’s a tale of patience and love, of warmth and accomplishment.  Sometimes the story goes off track and becomes a lesson in frustration and loathing.  How does that piece in timeout get back to a WIP, and then to a FO? How do you get back the peace and love that is knitting?

Join Kristina and learn to read your story.  In this 3 hour intensive we will do just that, we’ll read the story in the stitches to become better artisans.  We’ll learn when to tink, or frog, or when to drop a single stitch several rows to fix it. We’ll talk about what comes out in the wash, i.e.: blocking and what has to be fixed. We will go over lifelines, how and when to use them, and how to place them. We’ll go over simple tricks to fix big problems and how over-thinking could be the biggest mistake we all make.  $75
