Fun and Flirty Fair Isle with Jenna

Fair Isle knitting makes me think of the beauty of Fall.  What project would be better suited for the upcoming season than this fantastic Fair Isle poncho.  The designer likens this poncho to something out of “Outlander” and I just might have to agree as it makes me want to roam the hills of Scotland’s Highlands knowing I’m going to look gorgeous in this fair isle masterpiece.

In the class we will cover, but not limited to:

  • Pattern reading

  • Chart reading

  • Working in the round

  • Short rows

  • Fair Isle (aka Stranded) knitting

Skill level – Very advanced beginner/Intermediate

Thursdays, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

August 9, August 16, August 30, September 12 and October 4, 2018

Pattern:  Fair Isle Thistle Cape by Kat Oliver

Yarn:  Hilltop Shetland (carried at Dances With Wool) or comparable yarn.
