Fingerless Mitts with Ute

Fingerless Mitts with Ute

Tweedy, dotty, fingerless mittens in three sizes.

We will work these fingerless mitts using two colors, one at a time and in the round. The Theo colored linen stitch creates the dotted pattern. The fingering weight yarn makes a great fabric, light but warm. Both mitts are worked the same. You will knit a thumb gusset and a thumb.

Knuckle circumference:
S - 18 cm (7”)
M - 19 cm (7.5”)
L - 20 cm (8”)

Linen stitch has slightly less stretch than stockinette stitch, keep that in mind when considering your ease, especially if substituting for less elastic yarns.
