Have you dreamed of learning to crochet? This beginning crochet class will consist of two, 1.5 hours sessions held over two consecutive weeks. In Crochet 101 you will learn basic concepts of crochet including: basic crochet stitches (chain, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet), basic crochet concepts, and changing yarn colors. At the completion of this class and homework assignments, you will have the skills required for Crochet 102/My First project classes or to start your own project!
Students will learn:
Yarn weight differences
Basic concepts (holding hook, yarn tension, yarn over)
Basic Stitches (chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet)
Change yarn colors

Two balls of Encore worsted weight yarn in your chosen color
One crochet hook between 8-10mm
